With a proud history of marine safety and communication, GME is proud to announce two new AIS safety beacons, the SR500 AIS Search and Rescue Transmitter (SART) and the MO520 Automatic Identification System Man Overboard Beacon (AIS MOB).
The SR500 SART is a self-contained, waterproof rescue beacon that transmits an Automatic Identification System (AIS) distress signal upon activation in an emergency. The transmitted signal contains the position of the device, which can be detected by any AIS-equipped vessel in range.

The MO520 AIS MOB is a self-contained emergency beacon designed to be attached to life jackets or wet weather gear, which provides rapid distress alerting in a man overboard situation.
