The LT-3100S GMDSS Satellite Communications System is now supporting Long Range Identification and Tracking (LRIT). The LRIT capabilities are supported in software LT-3100S GMDSS SW v1.06. The software is officially released and can be downloaded from our website.
The LRIT functionality can be activated for all configurations of the LT-3100S GMDSS System. The minimum configuration setup consists of the following units:
• LT-3110S Control Unit
• LT-3120 Handset
• LT-3121 Cradle
• LT-3130 Antenna Unit
The LT-3100S GMDSS System LRIT functionality is compliant with the following resolution/standards:
• IMO Res. MSC.147(77), IMO Res. MSC.263(84), Sec.4
• Long Range Identification and Tracking (LRIT): IEC 62729 (2012)
